About

I'm a Senior Systems Engineer at a fiber ISP and managed services provider in West Virginia. My day-to-day spans ISP core architecture, fiber and VoIP/PBX infrastructure, REST API integrations, and a lot of Python automation that ties it all together.

I build solutions end-to-end and deploy them — real error handling, SSL, monitoring, and production config, not toy snippets. I also handle municipal IT for several West Virginia cities, covering everything from network troubleshooting to Microsoft 365 administration.

Outside of work I run a homelab, self-host most of my own tooling, tinker with Linux (Arch, Gentoo), and build things for fun — from Minecraft servers to personal coding projects!

  • Design and maintain ISP core architecture, fiber, and VoIP/PBX infrastructure across the network.
  • Build production Python automation and REST API integrations connecting Sonar CRM, Microsoft 365, and internal tooling.
  • Architect and self-host internal platforms: staff portal, NOC dashboard, scheduling, SIP monitoring, and fiber analysis tools.
  • Lead municipal IT for the cities of Dunbar, Nitro, and South Charleston — networking, M365, and emergency systems.

  • Built a Sonar → SalesRabbit lead sync and Cognito Forms → Sonar customer sync to eliminate manual data entry.
  • Investigated and resolved network issues including BGP routing problems affecting customer sites.
